In this video, I dissect mental health in South Africa by explaining the importance of being attuned to neurovegetative symptoms, the necessity of debunking the misconceptions that perpetuate stigma, and outline some of the structural barriers that make it difficult to access health care in our context.

Additionally, I offer the suggestion of collaborating with the Department of Basic Education to incorporate mental health awareness in the primary and secondary education syllabus.
